Welcome to the website for the Dorset County Association of Church Bellringers.


The Dorset County Association of Church Bell Ringers (DCA) is a ringing society that holds a regular monthly practice and rings peals and quarter peals on a regular basis. (Cancelled during Coronsvirus outbreak)

There are also two more ringing guilds operating in parts of Dorset, they are the Salisbury DG http://sdgr.org.uk/ and the Winchester and Portsmouth DG http://www.wp-ringers.org.uk/.


Despite its name the Association is non-territorial; it does operate mainly within the county of Dorset and adjoining areas but members live and ring wherever there are bells to be rung.
All members are Life Members.
The Association is represented on The Central Council of Church Bell Ringers and supports the Association Of Ringing Teachers.
It also has a bell restoration fund which is a registered charity. Charity Number 294239.To apply for a Grant to help with a restoration then please email [email protected] On our Policies page the Rules of the Association includes the criteria for Grants.
